I moved to Chicago in 2000 because I didn’t have much of anything else going on at the time.
I love Whose Line is it Anyway? and watch ABC’s World News every night. I make a mean box of macaroni and cheese, and the best mojitos. Ever. I like my job. No; I love my job. I love my family, friends and laying around the house until noon. I have met with leaders of foreign countries, but I’m most comfortable in running pants and a T-shirt enjoying a glass of wine on my patio. I have no idea what a pumpkin spice latte is.
Travel and photography are my two most passionate hobbies, but I could probably put taking a midday nap with my kids on that list, too. Only after I’ve consumed enough alcohol can I shake it like a Polaroid picture. Autumn is my favorite season. The internet is my vice and selfish people annoy me. I read lots of books, but they all have pictures and most of them rhyme. I enjoy cooking, but a good sandwich will make my day.
I enjoy silence, but music is a key part of my life. I wish I still played the drums, but wish I would have learned how to play the piano, instead. I enjoy stuffing the juke box with money and putting the bar in a better mood. My wife hates that I don’t care for the Beatles, but I do appreciate their contribution to music; and the world. I like learning new things. I really like experiencing new things. I love my wife and our little family more than anything on the planet.
